The area of Mossano carries the magic of medieval times, stories of knights and holy hermits. The walk of the Mills is a short loop (can be completed in about two hours), which proceeds from the parish church, down in the valley and then up through houses and old mills, until you come to a beautiful and impressive restored wheel mill.
Another interesting walk of about two to three hours is one that includes a visit to the Cave of San Bernardino. About half an hour from the village church there is a covolo (grotto), which still houses the traces of human presence dating back to the Neanderthal civilisation (200,000 years ago). The name of the cave is owed to the saint from Siena, who used it as a refuge and hermitage in the fifteenth century. The cave, surrounded by nature, offers the best and unique views of the Valley of Palù, the Hill of San Pancrazio, the Euganean Hills and the plain.
